This dramatic scene appeared suddenly out of nowhere. First the background, then by surprise this incredible woman appeared lying down on the canvas. The richness of the deep reds have a velvet look to them, creating intense emotion. It appears the background is dragging the woman down into darkness and turmoil.
This lady is carrying the world on her shoulders having to deal with so many problems. Lliving from pay cheque to pay cheque, bills piling up, stress, headaches, work-work-work, sadness, pain and tears, always tired, no energy, just surviving, with life appearing to have no hope and no end to the agony
There are many hidden meanings behind this painting... including the message of encouragement for us to lay down all our heavy burdens, worries and problems...

Are all your worries, problems and stresses of life so heavy, they are dragging you down and pulling you into depression and turmoil? You can lay it all down.
Our minds weren't designed to live with stress, we were designed to cast all of our cares. We can live a worry free life full of peace and joy in the midst of trials and turmoils.
When we just can't manage our problems on our own anymore, we can remove all our worries and burdens by handing every one of them over to God for Him to take care of. He promises to look after us if we trust Him, no matter what the circumstances look like. He will turn everything around for our good.
Jesus came to bring peace and hope to the world. We can run to Him whenever a problem arises because He is the one who can help us when no one else can. He promises He will never leave you nor forsake you. You are so loved, cherished and adored. Allow Him to carry the burden for you...
