Quality Canvas Prints

Every painting has been professionally digitally photographed/scanned for extreme high resolution printing to provide fine definition brush stroke detail, just like the originals!
Canvas prints are produced on quality primed canvas material using a high end digital printer with stabilised inks that are UV cured. Our canvas art prints are supplied rolled (in a postal tube) unstretched/not framed for a much safer, cheaper and easier delivery for your own personal stretching.(Stretching can be done by most art framers, not very expensive).

Once your canvas print has been stretched onto a wooden frame (and varnished, please see details below re 'Looking after your canvas ), the final product will look like the original painting, as pictured herewith.

We also supply an additional 8 cm black border around each image, so when the canvas material is stretched, you can either choose to have the edge of painting image wrap around the sides, or you can decide to have all the image displayed on the front, with black to appear on the wrap around edging.

Picture:'Example only' of final product - stretching, frame & stand not included in print prices.

Canvas Durability & Looking After Your Canvas

You can expect as long a life from your canvas as you would from any photograph out on display. Your canvas has been cured with UV light making it very UV durable. As with any artwork, it is advisable to keep your canvas away from extreme temperatures and out of direct sunlight.

Once your canvas print has been stretched, we recommend spray varnishing them as this will help protect the inks, enhance colours and add a lovely sheen to the final artwork. This process can only be done after stretching (due to possible cracking of varnish when stretching the canvas material). Your art framer should be able varnish for you, otherwise it is easy to apply spray varnish yourself. Varnish products are available at most art shops with product examples being: WESTART– Spray Crystal Clear 400g approx $9.50 AUD or NUART – Crystal Clear transparent clear gloss lacquer $24.95 AUD. (A heavy bodied clear acrylic resin which cannot be removed with mild solvents. A protective coating for Prints, Drawings, Photographs, Documents, Crafts, Copper, Metal, Wood, etc.)
